Mild, breezy weather filters into Maryland Sunday
Temperatures quickly cool back through the 70s and into the 60s after sunset. Breezy winds continue as cooler weather blows in. You may want a light jacket if you're out-and-about late this evening. Brief sprinkles or a very spotty light shower could sweep through as cooler weather arrives.
Sunday brings more pleasant conditions to Maryland. Plan for sunshine and noticeably cooler temperatures peaking in the mid-70s across much of the area. Dry air and a mostly clear sky allow temperatures to cool quickly after sunset. You'll want a jacket late Sunday.
The workweek starts off dry and mostly sunny on Monday, with afternoon temperatures peaking in the mid-70s. Changes are on the horizon. More clouds return Tuesday. A few showers are possible by Tuesday evening. Widespread rain builds in Wednesday morning. Rain remains periodic and light through Wednesday afternoon.
Steadier rain arrives Wednesday night. Rain may be heavy at times Wednesday night, into Thursday morning. A few rumbles of thunder are also possible. Clouds and wet weather help keep the forecast unusually cool next week. Overnight temperatures bottom-out in the mid to upper 40s in many areas by the middle of the week. Afternoons remain cooler than average; staying in the upper 50s and lower 60s across greater Baltimore.
