One person reported dead after shooting in Pontiac Tuesday
The Oakland County Sheriff's Office is investigating a shooting that happened shortly before 8 p.m. in Pontiac, Michigan.
Initial reports of the incident, which was in the area of South Boulevard near Highland Avenue, were that two people were injured.
Pontiac City Council member Melanie Rutherford later identified the two victims as "young brothers." She said one is deceased and the other is "fighting for his life right now."
An investigation is ongoing.
