Two men were found dead after an alleged attack at a Montebello apartment complex on Thursday morning. 

Montebello police responded to the complex around 2:34 a.m. on the 400 block of Lohart Avenue, where they found a man dead at the back of the property. Another man was found dead inside an apartment.

Officers also located a woman and a girl suffering from severe head injuries inside the apartment. They were both transported to the hospital for treatment and remain in critical condition, according to police.

It is unclear what led up to the attack. Police say the suspect and victims are related, and that there are no outstanding suspects.
