Fireworks shows and activities are scheduled for cities and communities across the Bay Area on Friday, July 4, 2025. 

Weather forecasters say possible low clouds and fog could impact some Bay Area cities' fireworks shows. A handful of cities' fireworks shows have been canceled because of the explosion and fire at a Yolo County fireworks warehouse

Here is a rundown of confirmed Fourth of July events in the San Francisco Bay Area:

Bay Area July 4th parades, picnics, festivals

  •  8:30 a.m. Lauren's Closet,1420 Park Street | 10 a.m.  | 10 a.m. : Steel Beach Barbecue Party 
  • 3 p.m. parade from American Canyon Road and Elliot Drive to Community Park II celebration with food trucks, live music and fireworks at dusk. 
  •  4 p.m. Fourth of July Celebration parade followed by a celebration with live music and a fireworks show
  • 10 a.m. "World Shortest" Parade at Soquel Drive and State Park Drive
  • 10 a.m. parade in Downtown Boulder Creek
  • Brentwood 9:30 a.m. in downtown Brentwood | 4 p.m. at City Park | 9:05 p.m.
  •  11 a.m. Star Spangled Social and Parade 2025
  • 10 a.m. parade on Marsh Creek Road 
  •  10 a.m. 4th of July Parade | 11 a.m. Downtown Celebration
  •  8 a.m. Kids Fun Run, Rotary Pancakes and parade, Todos Santos Plaza | 4 p.m. additional events at Mt. Diablo High School 
  • 8 a.m. Pancake breakfast, American Legion on Magnolia Avenue | 10:30 a.m. Parade & Festival 2025 at Corte Madera Town Center
  • 8 a.m. Pancake breakfast | 10 a.m. Kids parade, activities, concert at Veteran's Memorial Park | 9:30 p.m. Fireworks display launching from Hyde Middle School
  • 9 a.m. Kiwanis-Danville 4th of July Parade, Downtown
  • 10 a.m. Parade in Downtown Fairfield 
  •  8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Fourth of July Celebration at Leo Ryan Park 
  • 4th of July Parade canceled, but a return is planned for 2026.
  • Noon parade on Main Street. Pancake breakfast at 8 a.m. hosted by the Half Moon Bay Lions Club. 
  • 10:30 a.m. Kids parade and "duck dash" children's festival in downtown Healdsburg Plaza
  • 9 a.m. Community celebration will include food trucks, live music, and arts and crafts.
  • 9 a.m. Parade starting at Town Hall 
  • 11 a.m. Parade, picnic and circus along Alma Street to Burgess Park
  •  Noon July 4th Beats, Brews, and Vines! in Central Park
  • 10 a.m. Parade in downtown Morgan Hill
  • 7 p.m. Fourth of July Fireworks Spectacular with the San Francisco Symphony at Shoreline Amphitheatre.   
  • Napa 9:30 a.m. The parade on 2nd and 3rd Streets | 3 p.m. festival at  
  •  10 a.m. Parade starting at Grant Ave. at Reichert Ave. 
  • 7:30 a.m. Burrito breakfast before an 8 a.m. fun run and 9 a.m. book sale leading up to the 10 a.m. parade start.
  •  11 a.m. Fourth of July celebration at Frontierland Park
  • 11 a.m. 4th of July Summer Festival and Chili Cook-off at Mitchell Park 
  •  11 a.m. Pacific Grove Chamber of Commerce will host a Fourth of July Drive and Dine event at Jewell Park.
  •  9:30 a.m. Downtown parade 
  • Redwood City 8 a.m. | 9 a.m.  | 10 a.m.  | follows parade | 9:30 p.m. over Port of Redwood City 
  •  Mission Terrace hosts its Annual 4th of July Parade. 
  •   9:45 a.m. car cruise | 10 a.m. Rose, White and Blue Parade and Festival near Lincoln High School
  • 11 a.m. Crafts, family games, and a concert at on Fitzgerald Field at Central Park 
  • 9:30 a.m. July 4th Celebrations at Kevin Moran Park
  •  11 a.m. parade and flyover at Scotts Valley Drive 
  • 10 a.m. parade followed by a "bring your own" picnic celebration with live music will be held in Dunphy Park at 12 p.m.; 9:15 p.m. fireworks in Gabrielson Park 
  •  10 a.m. The Hometown Fourth of July celebration features a free parade and festival, followed by fireworks at dusk
  •  8:30 a.m. parade down Main Street 
  •  1 p.m. 73rd Annual Woodside Junior Rodeo, 521 Kings Mountain Road

  • Benicia , Downtown Benicia, 9:30 p.m.
  • Berkeley , Berkeley Marina, 7 p.m.
  • Brentwood  Liberty HS, City Park, and surrounding areas, 9:05 p.m.
  • Calistoga laser light show in Pioneer Park, 9 p.m.
  • Concord , 9 p.m.
  • Cupertino , 9:30 p.m. 
  • Gilroy  9:30 p.m.
  • Healdsburg Fireworks show with , 9:30 p.m.
  • Milpitas Fireworks show at 9 p.m. follows at Milpitas Sports Center
  • Morgan Hill  at Outdoor Sports Complex on Condit Road, 9 p.m.
  • Mountain View  at the Shoreline Amphitheatre, 9 p.m.
  • Napa  over Oxbow Commons at 9:30 p.m. 
  • Petaluma , which will be CLOSED for public safety. 9:30 p.m. .
  • Pleasant Hill  at approximately 8:45 p.m 
  • Redwood City  over Port of Redwood City, 9:30 p.m. 
  • San Francisco  beginning at 9:30 p.m.— one located at Pier 39 and another located at Aquatic Park.
  • San Jose The city's  was canceled because of the Yolo County fireworks warehouse explosion. The annual fireworks held at Almaden Lake Park was canceled due to safety concerns. | The at Excite Ballpark on July 4 and 5. | The at PayPal Park on July 5.
  • San Rafael  is holding nightly fireworks at 9:30 p.m. July 2 - 6
  • Santa Clara  fireworks show at California's Great America at 9:35 p.m.
  • Sausalito  at 9:15 p.m.  
  • Sonoma , the show managed by the Sonoma Valley Volunteer Firefighter Association.
  • St. Helena Fourth of July Festival at Crane Park, followed by fireworks at approximately 9:30 p.m.
  • Vacaville Free concert by at Andrews Park
  • Vallejo  drone show at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom, July 4 and 5, 9:15 p.m. | followed by drone show at Mare Island Promenade, 9:15 p.m.
