Picture-perfect summer days expected in Philadelphia this week. Here's the forecast.
After heat and humidity (along with storms) took the top headlines in weather in the Philadelphia region for a while, we're about to enter a much calmer, quieter and more comfortable stretch of weather heading into the new week.
Temperatures started out warm on Monday morning, but humidity levels will be dropping throughout the day, with dewpoints finally in the "comfortable" range as opposed to "swampy."
In fact, Monday through Wednesday will likely be the nicest stretch of the summer so far with low humidity, sunny skies, and highs in the mid-80s, which is actually a couple degrees below average.
By Thursday, we warm to 90 degrees again, and on Friday, it certainly becomes hotter and more humid, with highs heading back into the stifling mid-90s.
The next chance of storms arrives late Friday or early Saturday, with next weekend looking more unsettled.
