High temperatures in the 80s across the Philadelphia region Saturday, sunshine through the weekend
The weather will be far nicer in the Philadelphia region this weekend than it was most of the week, especially on Friday, when we had numerous flood warnings, damage reports and a confirmed tornado in Atlantic County.
On Saturday will settle into a quieter pattern with more sunshine for the weekend.
We saw some morning clouds and spotty showers, but those will give way to sunshine this afternoon. Breezy southwest winds will take the high temperature to the mid-80s.
The wind will gust to 35 mph later today. Saturday night will be pleasant as the skies will turn partly cloudy with temperatures hovering either side of 60 degrees by sunrise. The breezy conditions will continue with south winds gusting to 30 mph.
Sunday is the nicer of our weekend days with more seasonable temperatures in the mid-70s under partly sunny skies. Breezy conditions persist with winds turning to the northwest and gusting to 25 mph. It will also feel much less humid.
Monday and Tuesday are dry and delightful with sunny skies and highs in the 70s.
The enjoyable warmth and sunshine come to a screeching halt on Wednesday with another round of rain showers and a big chill as highs drop to the upper 50s. The cool and damp trend will continue through the end of the week.
