Mostly sunny, beautiful Tuesday in Philadelphia region. Here's the weather forecast.
Tuesday brings stunning, wonderful weather to the Philadelphia area, starting out in the 60s in most areas with afternoon highs coming in a few degrees below normal in the low 80s.
It looks like plenty of sunshine for most of us, with the chance of a few spotty sea breeze showers in South Jersey in the afternoon. These should be very few and far between but worth keeping an eye on the sky for.
Heat will build again late in the week, so make it a point to spend time outside Tuesday and Wednesday. Even if you work indoors, try to get your lunch outside. It's a gorgeous mid-July break.
By Thursday, we warm to 90 again, and on Friday it certainly becomes hotter and more humid with highs heading back into the stifling mid-90s.
The next chance of storms arrives late Friday or early Saturday, with the weekend once again looking unsettled. No organized weather systems are expected at this point, so we remain weather alert-free, but we'll keep you posted.
